Ideal for beginning a new career in France. Farming in France is different. There is no real “red tape”, France is a country that cares about its farmers, you just have to inform the Agricultural offices that you have “taken over” an “existing farm” and there are grants and advice available everywhere; neighbouring farmers offer help and fodder at reduced prices and deliver.

Our local mayor is very helpful, our land is only 2.5 hectares but great for a few horses/donkeys etc. We kept pigs and made a business out of making bacon and sausages for the large Brit community here. Local English-owned bars /restaurants etc. A really different way of life.

House is large and has 4 beds, 3 bathrooms. Roof redone! retiring due to ages (73 & 74).
