Situated just inside Brecon Beacons National Park, in a very picturesque location and close to Henrhyd waterfalls. The cottage is rural, yet on the edge of a small village and is in walking distance to a pub and approximately 5 miles from the nearby town of Ystradgynlais. Swansea is a 30 minute drive away and the city centre of Cardiff takes on average an hour.

The property is above the small Nant Llech river that leads to a waterfall which is managed by The National Trust.
The cottage used to be 3 very small cottages, but the previous owners renovated the property about 15 years ago. It has oak beams to all the downstairs ceilings, with latched oak doors and there are window shutters to the kitchen and dining area. There are two wood burners, in the lounge and in the guest suite.

The cottage is heated by a wood biomass boiler that also heats the water. There are solar panels to the roof of the barn that are owned by the seller, that will be transferred to the new owners on completion. Both the panels and the biomass generate good feed-in tariffs, the details of which can be provided to any interested parties.

Adjacent to the barn is a small paddock area, fenced off, with access to another small paddock that (previously used as a sand school) provides very rough grazing. Stables open out onto large concrete yard. Gated access to paddock area and also to an adjoining piece of land (under an acre) currently leased by seller from National Trust, for grazing.

The majority of the land is situated opposite the back of the cottage, across the river and has its own gated access from the country lane. This land is securely fenced off and slopes slightly down towards the river. We currently have 5 Black Mountain sheep that are kept in this field.
